Beautiful mobile-first parallax design. Voice search. Video hero that captures attention. Interactive map. Micro-interactions on hovers and in drop down menus that help drive navigation.
Visit Quad Cities is focused on showcasing the most exciting, fun and unique things to do in the Quad Cities, and the organization needed a website that reflected that personality. TAG was tasked with designing and producing a new website for Visit Quad Cities as well as two micro-sites for Visit Quad Cities sister websites: QC Ale Trail and Online Campaigns. The sites needed to be reflective of each other while still owning their unique personalities.
TAG’s in-house multimedia designers and developers created a mobile-first website with interactive details to obtain and maintain the attention of the audience. These details include unique iconography throughout the page that draw users in to explore the website further.
QC Ale Trail
The QC Ale Trail is a micro-site campaign built by TAG for Visit Quad Cities. The site invites beer lovers on a self-guided tour of the 14 (and counting) participating craft breweries across the Quad Cities bi-state region. Entrants log in online to check in on-site as the more breweries they visit the more they can win.
Online Campaigns
QC Restaurant week is one of five campaigns Visit Quad Cities runs on a yearly basis. TAG built specialty campaign templates that can be reused for these and future campaigns.
The new website features a beautiful mobile-first parallax design as well as voice search, an interactive map and a captivating video hero. The site also incorporates various micro-interactions on hovers and within drop-down menus that help drive navigation and develop a positive user experience (UX).
